Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies. Heaven.

"Want to know what I did last night, George? I Googled recipes. Spent the night with a search engine." -Izzie, Grey's Anatomy

Well, I didn't actually Google for this one. It's a mutant of a recipe from a Nestle book. A very simple mutant. Mutations in italics.

1/2 C butter
1/2 C packed brown sugar
3/8 C granulated sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 1/8 C unbleached whole wheat flour
1/4 C Nestle special dark cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Make like you would any other drop cookie. Butter, sugar, wet ingredients. Mix all dries together separately and then add to wets. Add chocolate chips. Bake in 375 degree oven for 8-10 min. Let stand for 2 minutes, remove to wire rack. Makes 2 dozen cookies (this is a half batch).

YUM!
